Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation - Traveler must work at least every other holiday - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required Description: Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. The position involves working in a fast-paced telemetry environment. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various medical conditions. This role may include floating to other units to care for similar patient populations. The shift schedule includes both day and night rotations, with potential variability to meet operational needs. Candidates are required to have active certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Candidates must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty. All certifications must be in hand and active at the time of submission. Applicants must be able to pass all required assessments during orientation. This position is subject to all standard employment verification processes and compliance requirements. Travelers may remain on assignment for a maximum of 18 months, with a break required before returning.
