About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation - Must work at least every other holiday - One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for Description: The position is for a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. The nurse will care for patients on a medical/surgical telemetry unit. There is a potential to float to other units as needed. The nurse will be required to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. An emphasis on patient-centric care is essential. Nurses will be expected to provide high-quality care and support to patients. All required certifications must be active and available at the time of application. The facility reserves the right to modify shifts to meet operational needs. Nurses can expect to engage with a diverse patient population.
