Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 weeks, 13 weeks also accepted Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. Must have permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. Must work at least every other holiday. References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team. This position involves potential floating to care for the same patient population. Candidates should be prepared to provide winter coverage. Shifts may vary based on the operational needs of the facility. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue. Candidates will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass the assessments. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. A background check will be conducted, and any open cases will not be accepted. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of starting the position.
