Specimen Processor - 3rd Shift

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for third-shift work in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, managing patient data entry, and coordinating with client offices in a high-volume diagnostic testing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens for testing and analysis
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment to testing facilities
- Research and resolve customer and specimen-related issues
- Perform spinning, freezing, splitting, and other specialized specimen services
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, data entry, manufacturing, or warehouse
- Ability to accurately identify and handle biological specimens
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Able to pass standardized color blindness test
Compensation: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour
