Senior Project Manager, Multiport (New Product Development)

Intuitive Surgical seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in new product development for complex surgical robotic instrumentation. The role oversees project execution from conception through manufacturing, managing schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of complex product development projects from conception to manufacturing stability
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for cross-functional teams
• Organize design reviews, phase gate meetings, and facilitate stakeholder communication
• Ensure Design Control compliance and maintain design history documentation
• Support product prioritization and strategy alignment with business unit objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years leading teams in product development with Design Controls
• Demonstrated success launching medical devices, particularly consumables and instrumentation
• Experience coordinating engineering disciplines including clinical, mechanical, electrical, and software
• Strong project management, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead distributed teams
