Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - RDKB

Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for validating RDK-B devices across multiple chipset platforms Develop and execute automated test suites covering networking, WiFi, DOCSIS/PON, TR-069/TR-181/TR-369 (USP) data models, and core CCSP components Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and triage failures Work with lab equipment and traffic generators (IXIA, Spirent) to validate performance, stability, and throughput Partner with RDK-B developers to reproduce, isolate, and verify defects on real hardware Report on coverage, defect trends, and release readiness in plain language stakeholders can actually use What you'll need Strong Python with real test automation experience (pytest, Robot Framework, or equivalent) Direct, hands-on RDK-B exposure — you understand the stack, not just the acronym Solid grasp of broadband and networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, WiFi (incl. 6/6E/7), DOCSIS or PON Familiarity with TR-069 / TR-181 / TR-369 and device data models Comfortable working on embedded Linux and reading logs from real devices Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git/Gerrit). Nice to have Exposure to Yocto/BitBake builds. WebPA, RBus/DBus, or RDK Logger familiarity. Prior work in a cable/MSO or CPE manufacturer environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr 5V Video
