Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Valid RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Knowledge of evidence-based practice - Proficiency in pathophysiology and pharmacological implications - Ability to accurately document assessments and perform clinical procedures - Skills in patient and family education - Understanding of tele monitoring, IV, and safe medication administration - Ability to recognize changes in patient conditions - Strong teamwork and independent work skills - Professional appearance and initiative Description: The role involves providing nursing care in an emergency setting. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based practices. Knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacological implications is essential. Accurate documentation of assessments and clinical procedures is required. Effective patient and family education is a key responsibility. Candidates must meet standards for telemonitoring and safe medication administration. Recognition of changes in patient condition is critical. The nurse will role model safety behaviors and act as a patient advocate. Working independently and collaboratively with the team is necessary. Acceptance of constructive feedback and completion of tasks within designated timeframes is expected. Initiative and necessary follow-up on responsibilities are vital for this position. Experience with various emergency medical conditions and procedures is preferred. Certifications must be current and applicable to the role.
