Field Technician Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**The Field Technician Manager leads and performs skilled facilities maintenance work at A-Prime’s client sites within the New England region. This role will act as the manager of a team of specialized technicians as well as the expert in multiple technical trades covered by A-Prime. The Lead will perform these tasks while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with other departments, partnering most closely with the client service department. Trades covered by A-Prime include all commercial doors, balers & compactors, forklifts, vertical transportation, conveyors, and dock equipment.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**Serve as the day-to-day subject matter expert on routine repairs and preventative maintenanceCoordinate and schedule field operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projectsAdhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Provide oversight of tech repairs, including quality and completion checksMaintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairsTrack and manage the use of materials and resources efficientlyPerform proactive and reactive maintenance and repair tasksProvide excellent customer service to facility staff and address their maintenance needs promptlyCommunicate effectively with staff and other departments regarding maintenance schedules and activitiesEngage in ongoing professional development/training and maintain role-specific certificationsAssist with departmental projects, as needed, to support and promote the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic plan**CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**Strong knowledge of retail facilities and associated equipmentExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency with maintenance tools and equipment, as well as work order management systems and technologyWeldingMechanicalHydraulics**PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS**Ability to lift and carry heavy objects regularlyAbility to handle frequent bending, climbing, and reachingAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsManual dexterity and ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment**PREFFERED ATTRIBUTES**Great team player that works well together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that tasks and projects are completed in the highest quality and in the most effective and efficient wayAbility to work under time constraints to ensure that tasks are delivered within specified timeframesComfortable using technology, and open to change when it comes to adopting better ways of working #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
