Senior Data Solutions Architect / Enterprise Data Architect – Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Location: Dallas, Texas or Princeton, NJ Role Summary Senior Data Architect accountable for designing cloud-native, regulatory-compliant BFS data platforms with deep expertise in risk, AML/KYC, payments, capital markets, and regulatory reporting . This role combines technology leadership , domain depth , and pre‑sales/RFP solutioning to influence large modernization and transformation programs. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership Architect end-to-end platforms for risk analytics , AML anomaly detection , payments ISO 20022 , trade/market data , and regulatory reporting using: Databricks (UC, DLT, Photon) Snowflake (Snowpark, Streams/Tasks) Kafka/Confluent , dbt , Airflow/ADF Define medallion data layers, CDC/streaming frameworks, data contracts, lineage, governance, and performance SLAs for BFS workloads. Solutioning, RFP & Pre‑Sales Ownership Lead technical solutioning , estimations, TCO models, and architecture narratives for BFS RFPs/RFIs. Build differentiators—AML accelerators, payment ingestion templates, regulatory lineage packs. Participate in customer orals, architecture walk‑throughs, and solution defense sessions. Partner with Client Partners/Account Leaders to drive farming + targeted hunting opportunities. 12–18+ years in data architecture; 5+ years BFS domain (risk, AML/KYC, payments, trading).
