Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. This role involves managing ventilators, performing ABGs, and assisting in emergent procedures within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilators for patients with diverse respiratory needs.
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) from A-lines and sticks to assess patient status.
• Assist in intubations, rapid response events, and code procedures to stabilize patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and ABG analysis.
• Possess strong assessment skills and the ability to handle emergent situations.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a demanding environment.
• CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
