American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Rural Health Primary Care Clinic position in Pagosa Springs, CO, requiring Cerner EMR experience and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience. Requirements Active Colorado RN license or compact RN license currently in good standing Current AHA BLS certification Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience Cerner EMR experience required Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced outpatient clinic environment Responsibilities Outpatient clinic setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment Rural Health Primary Care Clinic department Primary care patient population including chronic disease management, triage, and preventive care Monday–Friday schedule with 10‑hour day shifts No on‑call, weekend, or holiday requirements Cerner EMR experience required Responsibilities include patient triage, assessments, care planning, medication administration, immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and CLIA‑waived lab procedures Manages patient phone calls, portal messages, and nursing advice using established protocols Coordinates care with physicians, NPs, PAs, specialists, and ancillary departments Serves as a clinical resource for patients and clinic staff while supporting quality improvement initiatives Previous Rural Health Clinic, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience is preferred Experience with CLIA‑waived laboratory testing and supporting quality/patient engagement programs is a plus Contract extensions are available Two recent supervisory references required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-719519 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
