Store Sales Associate

Job Overview Start Date: Immediately Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT (6972 S PARK CENTRE DR COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS UT, 84121) Job Type: Part Time Wage: $14.55/hour Our sales associate will provide world‑class sales and customer service, selling Deseret Book products and services, operating cash registers, locating products, taking orders, imprinting, and gift‑wrapping. They will also maintain store appearance and organization by stocking shelves, unpacking merchandise shipments, and assisting with merchandise presentation. Shift Schedule Flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, Saturdays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas). Qualifications Ability to interact with customers in‑person and over the phone on a day‑to‑day basis. Excellent customer service skills. Prefers good product knowledge. Computer skills helpful. Strong team skills. Self‑motivated. Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates. Ability to locate and identify product for customers. Ability to regularly lift 20 lbs and occasionally lift 35‑50 lbs.
