You will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial environments and more. This Part-Time Security Officer role helps you build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.07 - $19.07 / Hour Schedule Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Saturday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts according to post instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance-related issues through established reporting channels. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with security-related procedures during shift activities, and completing required logs, reports, and/or pass-down information. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
