Equipment Technician (Special Event)

divh2Special Event Equipment Technician/h2pMaintain all Special Event equipment in clean and proper working condition and ensure equipment leaving our yard meets Andy Gump, Inc. quality standards. Tend to trouble shooting and repairs as needed in the field./ph3Job Duties and Responsibilities:/h3pThe duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliResponsible for proper operation, service and repair of all equipment on event sites, including out of town and overnight assignments./liliResponsible for effective communication between customer and/or Operations personnel on event sites./liliMay include supervision and documentation of temporary personnel and paperwork on event site, including time sheets and assignment of duties./liliResponsible for the proper operation of company vehicle./liliMaintain and repair inventory to be in good working order./liliInspect and maintain all safety equipment where applicable - lights, safety chains, hitches, pins, brake lights, etc./liliMaintain appearance of inventory to meet Andy Gump, Inc. standards./liliMake repairs as necessary./liliRestore and rebuild inventory as needed./liliMove equipment within our yards with forklift./liliPaint and touch-up trailers as needed./liliInspect all inventory as it arrives in our yard. Document damages and report to Prep Supervisor on a daily basis./liliStock and maintain inventory of supplies through Prep Supervisor./liliKeep work area safe, clean and orderly./liliPerform all duties in a safe manner./liliMaintain Class C drivers license./liliAll other duties as assigned by management./li/ulpProduction is based on daily needs and is in addition to the minimum equipment ready list. Work to maintain that inventory requirements are always met. Maintain quality and appearance of equipment. Communicate with Prep Supervisor throughout the day to ensure inventory being prepped will meet delivery demands. Communicate with Special Events Operations Coordinator while on event assignment./ph3Qualifications Guidelines Experience:/h3pExperience in maintenance and repair of all Andy Gump Special Event equipment./ppExperience operating hand tools, electric saws, air tools and forklift./ph3Education and/or Training:/h3pOn the job training is provided, including operation of company vehicles./ph3Knowledge:/h3pMust be able to trouble-shoot functions of all equipment. Be familiar with tools, safety devices on tools and forklift./ph3Skills/Abilities:/h3pRepresent Andy Gump (and AG Clean) with a professional image. Communicate effectively with customers and the public. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to operate tools, forklift and vehicles. Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with others./ph3Special Requirements:/h3pForklift certificate. Class C license required. Clean DMV history (subject to DMV pull notice program)./ph3Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:/h3pWork is performed both indoors and outdoors. Will be exposed to weather conditions. Some tools are noisy.
