So apply immediately!* This job posting will be used to fill On-Call positions at our Integrated Health Clinics at the below locations:1. **Rockwood,** 2020 SE 182nd Ave Portland, OR 97233 and 2. **East County**, 600 NE 8th Street Gresham, 3rd floor, OR 970303. **Mid County** Clinic 12710 SE Division St, Portland, OR 972364. **La Clinica de Buena Salud**, 6736 NE Killingsworth St Portland, OR 972185. **North Portland Health Center,** 9000 NE Lombard St Portland, OR 972036. **Northeast Health Center**, 5329 NE MLK Jr Blvd Portland, OR 972117. **Southeast Health Center**, 3653 SE 34th Ave Portland, OR 972028. **Health Service Center**, 619 NW 6th Avenue, 3rd Floor Portland, OR 97209**Please indicate which location you would like to work at on your resume or cover letter.*** Types of jobs this recruitment will fill will be on-call positions (up to 20 hours per week).* **Uncertified Medical Assistants will start 3% below the beginning wage listed.**The **Certified Medical/Uncertified Assistant** provides clinical support to the patient care team directed towards the prevention of disease and promotion of health using professional clinical support for quality patient care. This position works as part of a care delivery team and works closely with physicians and mid-level providers and other team members to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. As the **Certified Medical/Uncertified Assistant** you will: * Provide Patient follow-up (i.e.: after visit instructions, setting appointments, patient education, communicate normal lab results and reminder phone calls)* Support back office clinic flow and time management for providers.* Prepare patients for exams and procedures.* Review immunizations, forecast and administer immunizations for clients of all ages.* Perform medical treatments such as simple would care, ear irrigations, suture removal and fluoride treatments.* Ensure the exam room is stocked, cleaned and ready for use.* Provide back-up lab duties including phlebotomy and processing labs.* Complete assigned Quality Control/Assurance activities* Provide back-up to the preventative MA.**Diversity and Inclusion:** At Multnomah County, we don't just accept difference; we value it and support it to create a culture of dignity and respect for our employees. Candidates hired will be expected to become certified after hire.* CPR certification is required (valid CPR certification must be provided upon hire)**Other:** Depending upon assignment, candidates may be required to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting. **\*Transferable skills****:** Your transferable skills are any skills you have gained through education, work experience (including the military), or life experiences that are relevant to this position.
