Medical Assistant Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8-Hour Days
• Shift: 8-hour shift scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support an outpatient clinic and provide high-quality clinical assistance to providers and patients. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily clinic operations, preparing patients for examinations, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting providers with patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information.
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and safely.
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies.
• Perform appropriate room turnover and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Document patient information and clinical activities accurately in Epic .
• Follow proper infection-control, patient-safety, and confidentiality procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
• Support the overall workflow of a busy outpatient clinic.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• High School Diploma/GED
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Epic experience required
• Venipuncture experience required
