Ramley Home Solutions is looking for an Outside Sales Representative with sales experience, construction knowledge, and a genuine interest in helping homeowners improve their homes.

In this role, you'll meet with homeowners, visit job sites, understand their project needs, and prepare quotes for residential construction and home improvement projects, including roofing, decks, and other home solutions.

We're looking for someone who can build trust, communicate clearly, recognize a good opportunity, and guide customers through the sales process. You'll have company-generated leads and marketing support, along with opportunities to develop your own leads and relationships.

What You'll Do

• Manage sales opportunities: Respond to leads, schedule appointments, meet with homeowners, and guide prospects through the sales process.

• Meet customers in the field: Conduct site visits to understand project requirements, evaluate the scope of work, and discuss potential solutions.

• Prepare project quotes: Use an iPad and the company's quoting technology to develop and present estimates for roofing, decks, and other residential construction and home improvement projects.

• Identify customer needs: Ask questions, understand each customer's priorities, and recommend solutions that fit their project and expectations.

• Build and maintain relationships: Develop trust with homeowners, follow up on opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and ask for referrals.

• Qualify opportunities: Determine whether a project is a good fit for the customer and the company before investing time in the estimating and sales process.

• Support customer satisfaction: Communicate clearly, set appropriate expectations, and navigate challenging conversations professionally.

• Develop new business: Take advantage of company-generated leads while also using networking, prospecting, and relationship-building skills to create additional opportunities.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• At least one year of sales experience.

• Construction experience and an understanding of residential construction or home improvement projects.

• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and build productive customer relationships.

• Comfort with in-person sales appointments, site visits, and customer follow-up.

• Ability to learn and use iPad-based quoting and estimating technology.

• Strong organizational skills, personal accountability, and the ability to manage sales opportunities.

• A self-starting attitude, resilience, and willingness to take ownership of results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling roofing, decks, remodeling, or other residential construction and home improvement services.

• Experience preparing estimates, quotes, or proposals for construction projects.

• Experience with consultative or solution-based selling.

• An existing network of homeowners, referral partners, or other potential customers.

• Familiarity with Baseline Selling, Sandler Sales, or the Challenger Sale.

Compensation & What We Offer

• $65,000–$150,000 per year: Base pay plus commission, based on experience.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Weekdays are required.

• Occasional weekend availability is expected, approximately one Saturday per month.

• This is an outside sales position involving customer appointments, site visits, and work-related travel.

• A company-provided wrapped vehicle is available for appointments and work-related travel.
