LHH Recruitment Solutions USA Pacesetter A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Fixed Asset Accounting Manager to join a fast-paced and growth-oriented organization in the real estate development space. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration at the Lewisville, TX location. About the Role: This position is ideal for a detail-driven accounting professional with a strong command of asset lifecycle management and financial reporting. The Fixed Asset Accounting Manager will lead a high-performing team and oversee all aspects of asset accounting—from acquisitions and disposals to reconciliations and month-end close activities. The role demands a proactive mindset, leadership experience, and a passion for process optimization. Key Functions: Manage the complete lifecycle of fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Lead month-end close processes related to asset accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Guide and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering collaboration and performance. Collaborate with departments such as procurement, operations, and accounts payable to ensure data integrity. Support audit processes and contribute to policy enhancements based on evolving regulations. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred). 7+ years of accounting experience, including 4+ years focused on fixed assets. Proven leadership with at least 2 years of team management. Strong understanding of GAAP and asset accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems and asset subledger tools. High attention to detail and ability to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
