Founded in 2012, Medicaid Done Right (MDR) is an independent Medicaid application processing company that assists long-term care facility residents and their families with applying for Institutional Care Plan-Medicaid benefits. The Team Lead is an integral part of fulfilling MDR's mission. Our mission is "To aid patients, their families, and caregivers in the process of applying for Medicaid benefits. What You Will Be Doing:

• Conduct quality audits on the processing team members monthly.
• Complete manager duties such as assigning files and attending meetings when the Team Lead is out of the office.
• Provide coaching/mentoring to processors when QA audits reveal an area of opportunity. Provide one-on-one training to new processors when they have completed the pre-service training class and joined the team.
• Management of the application to ensure timely approval for all the months needed of coverage.
• Successfully take a case created by the representative and manage it to approval, this includes working with a sense of urgency, attention to detail and a high degree of responsibility and professionalism.
• Ensure that MDR manages coverage possible to the facility.
• Responsible for management of file caseload with absolute accuracy and discretion in handling confidential matters and materials, using the "ADNOR" and "RESULT" processes.
• Daily work includes management of portfolio of between 30-45 files. To keep momentum on each file, processors are expected to follow the A.D.N.OR process on their caseload, first checking for Approvals, then managing due Dates, analyzing new files, then working the Oldest Red file in rotation. The goal is to action each file at least every five days.
• Determining eligibility for Long Term Care Medicaid benefits by working with residents, their families, and caregivers to gather state required verification documents, examining income and assets, and following qualifying guidelines to ensure the timely and accurate submission of the Medicaid application to the state.

The position is an In-Office position, located at the Clearwater, FL office. While performing duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, talk, and hear; handle objects, tools or controls and is regularly required to sit for extended increments. The specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
