Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - Per Diem
Oasis Nursing and Rehab of Green Valley is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team! As a valued member of our care family, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness and independence for our residents. Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Conduct occupational therapy treatments, such as exercises, activities, and training programs, to help residents regain independence and skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental standards
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for residents' needs outside of regular business hours
- Maintain a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and exceeding customer service expectations
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies
- Current OTA certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Nevada
- 1+ years of experience working as an OTA in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting, preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
