Overview:
To ensure all items are prepared and stored to specifications.
Essential Functions:
* Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
* Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
* Display basic knife skills
* Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
* Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
* Production of orders
Tools and Equipment:
* Cooking utensils and equipment, pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware, food slicing machine, knives
* Oven, grill/stove burners, microwave appliances, steam kettle.
Working Environment:
* Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
* Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
* Exposure to food items and beverages.
Qualifications:
* Have knowledge in a wide range of cooking techniques
* Must have good computer skills and organization skills
* Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
