School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist In-Person positions available only, no teletherapy at this time. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered Current TN SLP License (or willing to obtain) Current TN Educator License (or willing to obtain) Have a valid U.S. driver’s license Pass background check clearance Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Have the ability to walk, bend, sit, and stand during the work shift Provide own transportation Experience with pediatric populations Responsibilities: Provide evaluations, develop and implement therapy goals Diagnose speech and language pathologies Act as a liaison and collaborate with other professionals/team members and families to provide well-rounded care Educate students and teachers in proper treatment techniques, including the use of assistive devices Provide written documentation of client services, including but not limited to, writing session notes and uploading them to a database timely Develop or collaborate on the development of the IEP (Individual Education Plan) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract 401(k) Continuing education credits Paid time off Referral program Work Location: In person, in Shelby County TN About Synapse Therapy Group Synapse Speech-Language Pathology Group, PLLC is an SLP-owned small business in Memphis, TN.
