The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a regional Administrative Officer. Typical work assignments include:Oversee the Business Support Group within the regional office, providing administrative and business support services to regional office and field personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, travel, fleet management, purchasing, property/asset management, time and attendance, records management, supplies, human capital, budget, executive secretariat, logistics, and facilities management.Oversees the Program Analyst for Business Support in his/her role as the Executive Secretariat (Exec-Sec) for the Regional Office. Oversees and drafts regional official responses to tasks and RFIs that are directed through the Exec Sec process.Oversees the Program Analyst for Business Support in his/her role as the Budget/Procurement/Property Officer for the Region. Ensures proper and timely execution of associated tasks and activities.Collaborates directly with CISA HQ on the development and implementation of organizational operating procedures relating to mission and business support operations.Oversees the development and execution of travel standard operating procedures within the Region.Manages Web Time and Attendance (WebTA) requests for regional office and field personnel.Oversees Regional Human Capital Liaison function. QualificationsYou may qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level performing the following duties:Provide administrative and business support services, to include but not limited to travel, fleet management, purchasing, property/asset management, time and attendance, records management, supplies, human capital, budget, executive secretariat, logistics, and facilities management.Draft responses to general correspondence or inquiries, researching and coordinating with appropriate offices in developing the responses.Develop and analyze internal administrative policies and procedures.Provide travel guidance and support for local, domestic, and foreign trips. Provide travel coordination services by booking reservations for airfare, lodging, rail, and rental cars. Close out travel vouchers for filing and reimbursement. Provide administrative and travel rules guidance.Serve as timekeeper. Ensure all timecards are certified each pay period and resolve complex leave issues. Manage leave reports and respond to miscellaneous timekeeping taskers.Collect, review, evaluate, and interpret administrative data related to timekeeping, travel, human capital, training, awards, and program/personnel resourcing.NOTE: Your resume must support your responses to the online questionnaire, the qualification and time-in-grade requirements.
