Company Overview GEMCO is an industry leader in design and manufacturing of industrial tumble blenders and dryers. We are looking for a seasoned mechanic well‑versed in industrial equipment. Responsibilities and Duties Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs they are assigned. This can include anything from routine maintenance work to specialized repairs. Other duties include: 15 years industrial mechanic experience Complete job within allotted timeframes Assemble motors, gears, reducers, encoders, brackets, rotary unions, airlines, lift trays, valves, piping Able to bend pipe and small tubing Welding MIG and TIG and Stick Read drawings including P&ID, pneumatic circuits, and electrical diagrams Place equipment with a forklift and crane Level and align using the proper tools and equipment Assess machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues Liaise with clients and shop personnel to ensure job is done satisfactorily Adhere to company work and safety policies Mechanic Assembly and Disassembly Of integrated process equipment to include but not limited to chillers, dryers, pumps, HVAC, heating packages, etc. Electrical Minor electrical work as may be required for the replacement of sensors, motors, solenoids contactors, VFDs, PLCs, etc. PLC troubleshooting. Piping Repair and installation of process piping, water and air supplies, drainage, etc. Mechanical Fabrication (Including welding) As may be required for projects.
