You will be responsible for empowering our product owners to solve difficult problems while working for our business. You will be expected to craft the vision and story for your team holistically, providing balance in the needs of our business and the experience of our user, ensuring that the solutions delivered are both valuable and viable. You will work closely with a team of digital product owners, along with analysts, designers, engineers, product leaders, and business partners across the organization as you leverage the power of our multiple brands and Optum channels to bring your vision to life.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:We expect our Product Manager to deliver results, as defined by key business outcomes and product performance measures. You and the team will set the short- and long-term product goals and manage priorities and financials against those desired outcomes. In the collaborative digital environment, delivering on these results means influencing your teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives through your use of data and logicThe Product Manager must also contribute deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products. You are expected to harness data and analytics to drive decision making, test hypotheses and drive the product forward with continuous iteration and innovation. This must be balanced with knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to the product; as Product Manager, you will speak to how we can strategically respond to these needs and opportunities with digital features and initiativesYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: 4+ years of college degree (or equivalent experience)3+ years of digital product experience or equivalent domain experienceExperience and ability to engage with multiple functional areas including business partners, engineers, designers, data analysts, user researchers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationshipExperience managing multiple initiatives, shifting back and forth effectively among activities, to produce positive results in a dynamic environment Experience working in an agile environment and encouraging teams to deliver iterative, valuable improvements to digital experiencesExperience with defining goals, planning actions, and delivering business outcomes Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
