Senior Underwriter

About the Role The Senior Underwriter is a key member of the underwriting team reporting to the Regional Underwriting Manager. The primary goal of this position is to profitably grow a book of business by actively partnering with Agents and working effectively with colleagues throughout the organization. This person will plan and budget for the book of business, develop and maintain agency relationships, and execute underwriting decisions. What You'll Do Business Management: reviewing your book of business, tracking performance, and analyzing market conditions and competition. Broker Partnership: building and managing broker relationships, developing goals and strategies, and collaborating to craft tailored solutions for members. Underwriting Execution: overseeing new and renewal underwriting, selecting risks per company guidelines, and ensuring timely follow-up and closing of accounts. What You'll Need At least 5 years of underwriting experience, preferably in the high‑net‑worth space, and comfortable owning a book of business. Direct, empathetic communication skills, thriving on building connections with people, gathering and analyzing data to make risk decisions. Work with pride and determination. Compensation The base salary for this role can range from $75,000 to $0 based on a full‑time work schedule.
