Chief Development/Foundation Student Assistant

The Chief Development Office/Foundation Student Assistant will assist with various duties in the Chief Development Office/Foundation.

Minimum Education/Experience - Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the fall and spring semesters or enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours for the summer semester. OR Current OCCC student with a federal work study award.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Ability to work in organized manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Positive communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and interact with customers in a positive manner. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or similar software programs. Accurate spelling and filing skills. High attention to detail.

Job Duties - Job duties will include but are not limited to: Answer the phone during peak times. Make phone calls as directed to various stakeholders. Make copies. Write personalized notes as directed. Sort and prepare material for distribution as needed. Assist with special projects. Deliver information/material to departments as needed. Storage organization. Meeting set-up and break down. Post and remove signage/banners. Process mail. Support during campaign and events. Order food and drinks for events.

Work Hours - As needed or assigned not to exceed 25 hours per week, anytime between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday Friday.
