Minimum Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Current CPR certification. Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a healthcare facility. Preferred Qualifications Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population. Additional certifications in specialized areas of medical assisting. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and assisting with physical exams. Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as directed by healthcare providers. Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care activities. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
