Fitness Program Coordinator

Conduct fitness assessments and create individualized exercise plans. Provide orientation and training on fitness equipment and safe exercise practices. Supervise contracted fitness instructors, volunteers, and interns. Oversee fitness center operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. Collaborate with recreation, nursing, therapy, and resident committees to create inclusive wellness opportunities. Promote wellness education, special events, and healthy aging initiatives throughout the community. Required Qualifications Certification through ACSM, ACE, NASM, AFAA, or equivalent. Current CPR and First Aid certification . Experience leading fitness programs and working with older adults. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health & Human Performance, or a related field. Experience with group fitness instruction, wellness coaching, and program development. Experience supervising staff, contractors, volunteers, or interns.
