INDEPENDENT LIVING FACILITATOR (Sacramento)

Job Details Location: Sacramento, CA 95820 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Education Level: High School Salary: $16.90 - $17.75 hourly Travel: Up to 50% Shift: Any Job Overview Independent Living Facilitator (ILF) supports adults with developmental disabilities to live independently through daily living assistance, community integration, and individualized care planning. Essential Functions Assist participants with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and support health and well‑being, including medication administration and attending medical appointments. Help with meal preparation, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and laundry. Assist with budgeting and paying bills. Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, social events, and recreational pursuits. Provide or arrange transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed. Implement individualized support plans, including behavioral intervention strategies. Maintain accurate and timely records of support provided, including daily notes, incident reports, and financial logs. Participate in training sessions and workshops to maintain and enhance skills. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without accommodations. General household work not related to participant care does not exceed 20% of weekly hours. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma. Previous experience in a support or caregiving role. Must be able to verify employment eligibility under USCIS I-9 requirements. Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks. California Driver License and auto insurance. CPR/First Aid certification obtained within 30 days of hire. Preferred: AA Degree in a related field. Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CPR/First Aid Certification. Previous experience in a support role. Additional Eligibility Requirements After a conditional job offer has been made, a pre‑employment screening will be required.
