Residential Coordinator

Akoma Homecare & Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Residential Coordinator to take day‑to‑day responsibility for one or more assigned homes and clients. The Residential Coordinator directly supervises Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at their assigned home(s), ensuring daily care, safety, and household operations run smoothly, and serves as the first point of contact for anything happening on‑site before escalating to the General Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate DSPs assigned to their home(s), including daily check‑ins, task assignment, and performance oversight Ensure day‑to‑day oversight of the assigned home(s) — safety, cleanliness, and adequate supplies Serve as the first point of contact for incidents at their assigned home(s), addressing immediate concerns and escalating to the General Supervisor as needed Communicate directly with families/guardians of assigned clients on day‑to‑day matters Oversee medication administration schedules, either directly or through delegation to trained DSPs, in line with care plans Manage house budget or petty cash for assigned home(s), including tracking and reporting expenses Monitor staff attendance and coverage at assigned home(s), flagging gaps to the General Supervisor Support onboarding of new DSPs assigned to their home(s) Maintain accurate records of daily activities, concerns, and communications for their assigned clients/homes Escalate staffing, safety, compliance, or service‑delivery concerns to the General Supervisor promptly Perform other duties as assigned by the General Supervisor or executive management Required Qualifications: Prior experience as a DSP or in direct‑care/caregiving roles Ability to supervise and coordinate a small team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliability, sound judgment, and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive client and family matters with discretion Valid driver's license (if travel between homes is required) Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in home care, residential services, or human services Experience with medication administration oversight Familiarity with Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and person‑centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr Akomahmc
