Title: Tax Senior

Compensation: $95K–$105K base + bonus + RSUs (generous total comp

Location: San Diego (onsite, 5 days/week)

Overview:
High-visibility opportunity to join a corporate tax team supporting income tax provision and financial reporting for a large, complex global organization. This role offers strong exposure to leadership, cross-functional teams, and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, including current and deferred calculations
• Prepare and analyze tax provision schedules, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers
• Assist with financial reporting requirements including footnotes and disclosures
• Support effective tax rate analysis, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and external advisors
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of corporate tax or public accounting experience
• Exposure to ASC 740 / tax provision processes preferred
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced close environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or progress toward certification
• Experience with large ERP or tax provision systems
• Background in multinational or public company environment
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement focus
