Practice Manager - Buckhead, GA

Employment type: Full‑time. Salary range: $63,822 - $92,187 annually. Job Overview In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. The role requires strong practice‑management skills and people‑leadership abilities to develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. The Practice Manager works with the veterinary medical team, field leadership, corporate headquarters, and associates to optimize the growth of both businesses and to support professional development. Responsibilities Interview, hire, and develop associates. Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity. Train associates on educating clients about wellness plans, preventive care, pet health needs, and hospital services. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing‑education needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Three years of related experience in health care, veterinary profession, or service industry, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem‑solving ability. Conflict‑management experience. Leadership and analytical know‑how.
