About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced German-language voice actors to record professional audio and evaluate AI-generated speech - helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed - just a trained voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do

Record professional-grade German voice audio using a large diaphragm microphone, following provided scripts and prompts
Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional expression
Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized German voice outputs
Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
Native or near-native fluency in German with strong command of natural spoken delivery
Owner of a large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
Sharp ear for nuance - you notice subtle differences in tone, rhythm, and pronunciation
No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

Experience across multiple voice acting styles - commercial, narrative, character, corporate
Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
Knowledge of regional German dialect variations - Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise
Background in linguistics, broadcasting, theatre, or audio production
