Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a complex medical unit managing conditions such as complicated UTI, pneumonia, sepsis, pancreatitis, and altered mental status
• Care for patients with tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and peritoneal dialysis as part of a high-acuity patient population
• Rotate between a research unit setting and a complex medicine unit throughout the month
• Monitor and document patient status, including neurological assessments using standardized stroke scales
• Perform and maintain peripheral IV access and PICC line care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong Medical/Surgical nursing skills with experience in high-acuity or complex medicine settings
• Proficiency with tracheostomy care
• Ability to perform NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments
• Competency in peripheral IV starts and PICC line management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with peritoneal dialysis
• Prior experience in a research or clinical trial unit environment
