Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Step Down Unit – Georgia

Schedule: 48-hour contract week; Medical Step Down Unit with 16-20 beds; Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic Medical Step Down Unit caring for complex, high-acuity patients
• Diverse case mix including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
• Manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 supporting quality care delivery
• Unit capacity of 16-20 beds providing variety and consistent patient volume
• Opportunity to utilize critical thinking and advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Medical Step Down or Medical-Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
