We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Employee Type: Full Time, HourlyReports to: Processing ManagerJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAShift Hours: 1st Shift; 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - FridayPay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00, dependent upon relative experienceExperience: 1+ year experience preferred with application of primer, fuel cell and top coatJob Duties:Must be able to thoroughly follow instructions and be attentive to detailsTouch up primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface typesMask and de-mask parts as requiredMix paints per manufacturers specsPrep parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaningComplete work flow documentation thoroughly and properlyInspect results of paint appliedInspection: Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being paintedClean and repair paint equipment and keep work area organizedWear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all timesKeep work area cleanAssist other departments as necessaryRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust be 18 years of ageMust have 1+ year experience with application of primer, fuel cell and top coat, preferredPrevious experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferredMust be self-motivated and produce quality workDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsExcellent attendance and positive attitude is requiredTeam player and willing to learn new skillsWorking Conditions:Some overtime may be requiredAbility to regularly and frequently lift 25 poundsWill be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
