General Summary The Delivery Specialist II, under supervision, is responsible for assisting in the processing of in-bound and out-bound mail. In addition to mail processing, this position assists patrons in purchasing postage, mailing parcels, delivering parcels and other various duties of a mailroom assistant. Responsibilities Process in-bound and out-bound mail. Assist customers with postage and package pickup. Office and clerical duties. Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University and job-specific online training courses. Necessary Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year clerical experience. Must be able to complete required USPS training. Must possess strong customer service skills and have the ability to multitask and work under timelines. Must be able to move up to 25 pounds. Due to budgetary reasons, West Texas A&M University will not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
