Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and extensive medical history evaluations

• Provide direct support in the operating room, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and education for patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice strongly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
