RN - Surgical Services: Circulating & Recovery Room

Schedule

This position requires 8-hour shifts with a total of 40 hours per week. Weekend, holiday, and on-call work are required.

Job Description

The RN Surgical Services - Circulating & Recovery Room provides essential circulating and recovery nurse services in the operating room. This role includes assisting the surgical team as needed, providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and consulting with specialists to ensure optimal patient care throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and recovery nurse services in the operating room.
• Assist the surgical team in any capacity according to established procedures.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to optimize care.
• Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist in patient assessment.
• Provide care in the recovery room and support patients through their recovery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Montana.
• CPR certified at the Healthcare Provider level.
• ACLS certification is required.
