Make a Difference as a School Psychologist

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a collaborative school team in the San Francisco, California area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students' academic achievement, mental health, and social-emotional well-being.

In this role, you'll partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive psychological services that foster student success in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students experiencing academic, behavioral, social, or emotional challenges.
Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational assessments.
Prepare detailed evaluation reports and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and school administrators.
Participate in eligibility meetings and develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop evidence-based behavioral and academic intervention strategies.
Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives through consultation and data-driven decision-making.
Provide short-term individual or group counseling and behavioral support services when appropriate.
Assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and school-wide mental health initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, including IDEA and Section 504.
Foster positive relationships with students, families, educators, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Valid California School Psychologist License or Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential, or eligibility to obtain before the start date.
Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment, behavioral intervention, and consultation practices.
Thorough understanding of IDEA, Section 504, special education procedures, and applicable California education laws.
Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K–12 public or private school setting.
Experience supporting diverse student populations and inclusive educational environments.
Familiarity with electronic IEP systems, digital documentation platforms, and behavioral data management software.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, restorative approaches, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
