Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced paraprofessionals for a full-time New School Year (NSY) opportunity with a school district in the San Francisco, CA area. This position offers the potential for renewal into the next school year based on performance and district needs.

Position Responsibilities:

* Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings
* Assist teachers with classroom management and daily lesson activities
* Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines
* Implement accommodations and behavior intervention strategies as directed by school staff
* Work one-on-one or in small group settings with students
* Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring
* Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Qualifications and Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED required
* Associate degree, completion of 48 college semester units, or successful completion of a paraprofessional assessment may be required based on district guidelines
* Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
* Experience supporting students with special needs and/or behavioral needs preferred
* Ability to pass background check and drug screening requirements
* Fingerprinting and state clearance required prior to start
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
