Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting tailored treatment plans that address individual needs
• Implement physical therapy techniques targeting mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through recovery by clarifying therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to promote cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (for instance, in geriatrics or neurology) are welcome but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience strongly encouraged
