I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment, and I'm hiring a Litigation Attorney in Miami for an insurance defense firm with a busy auto defense practice, a stable team and a billable target that's set to be sensible rather than punishing.

\n

\n

The practice

\n

\n

• Around 70% of the caseload is auto defense: liability disputes, serious injury claims, commercial vehicle matters and everything in between

\n

• The other 30% comes from the firm's wider insurance defense work, and you can lean into other areas if you'd like to broaden your practice

\n

• A steady flow of new business, so your docket stays full of real cases and doesn't swing between famine and panic

\n

• Depositions, hearings, mediations and trial work that you run yourself

\n

• Direct relationships with carriers and adjusters who already trust the firm

\n

\n

What the firm needs

\n

\n

• 5+ years of insurance defense experience, with a clear auto focus

\n

• Florida Bar admission

\n

• Someone who can take a file and run it with confidence, from the first evaluation to verdict if it comes to that

\n

• Senior associates and counsel level lawyers are equally welcome. There's no upper limit on experience

\n

\n

The terms

\n

\n

• $150,000 to $220,000, depending on experience

\n

• Hybrid working, based in Miami

\n

• Billables pitched at a sensible level, designed so good lawyers can do good work without burning out

\n

\n
