The HR Coordinator provides service-oriented support to the Human Resources Department and serves as a helpful and responsive resource to employees, managers, and candidates. This position supports recruiting, onboarding offboarding, invoice processing, employee recognition programs, recordkeeping, and special projects. The HR Coordinator demonstrates a people-first approach, maintains confidentiality and accuracy and builds collaborative relationships while helping create a positive employee experience and fostering a collaborative culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, timely and professional administrative support to the Human Resources Department.


• Serve as a helpful point of contact for employees, managers, and candidates by answering questions, coordinating information and welcoming new hires to the company.


• Support recruiting activities, including creating and managing job postings, coordinating candidate activity and tracking new hires.


• Coordinate new hire onboarding actions, including offer letters, , initiating background checks, updating HRIS records, and communication with departments and new hires to support a smooth first-day experience.


• Support employee offboarding actions, including coordinating required communications, and the timely return of company property.


• Reconcile HR invoices, research and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of HR programs and expenses.


• Support employee recognition and engagement programs, including anniversary cards, service awards, recognition items, and employee referral bonuses.


• Maintain accurate and organized HR records in accordance with established guidelines.


• Protect the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee, payroll, benefits and HR information.


• Assist with HR projects and initiatives that support the goals and priorities of the Human Resources Department.


• Contribute to a positive and collaborative employee experience through dependable support, professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

•  1+ years administrative experience, Human Resources experience preferred.


• High level of proficiency with Office 365.


• Service oriented approach with a genuine interest in supporting employees, managers, candidates and the business.


• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding organizational and time management skills.


• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.


• Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.


• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality, use sound judgment when handling sensitive issues


• Ability to work collaboratively, respond with professionalism, and adapt to changing priorities.
