Lighting Equipment and Logistics manager This is a Contracted position in the field of Live Event Staging, Crewing, & Production , located in Manhattan, NY . Self-started wantedEquipment and Logistics manager needed for a growing lighting design and production company. The position involves lighting and logistics. You will be responsible for efficiently and effectively transporting our well‑maintained gear to and from our project's job sites. In some cases, you would actually drive a rental truck, and in other situations, you would help us get quotes from our trucking partners. It must be checked out of the warehouse, double‑checked once on‑site, and then checked back into the warehouse while doing QC. QC will consist of opening every case to ensure that all pieces and parts ( cables, clamps, safeties, etc.) are still present. If a fixture has been marked as needing attention, you must try to fix the issue or send it out for repair. The position would require being on‑site in our Dallas, TX, warehouse as needed on a project basis. The position may require travel to our Beacon NY warehouse and job sites around the country as needed. You will be responsible for learning and using Rental Works and helping us continue to add RFID tags to equipment that does not yet have them. You will be expected to pull, prep ( address DMX as needed), and ship all the equipment for a project ensuring that the correct equipment gets to the correct job site. Experience As this is a bit of a split position, we would like someone who can work as an assistant production electrician in the field and then be the shop person who preps and coordinates all of our gear. We would start as a contracted position with the idea that, as we grow, the job would become a full‑time job. We listed the job as Hybrid only because if you are doing emails or phones, you would not need to be in the warehouse, but of course, if you are working with the equipment or truck, you would need to be on‑site.
