Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Weston, Wisconsin. This inpatient role involves providing critical care treatments primarily for adult patients, with minimal pediatric and neonatal cases. Candidates are expected to perform a variety of respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, ABGs, and intubation assist. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Weston, Wisconsin
• Shift & Hours: 12-hour shifts, rotating between 0600-1800 and 1800-0600, with some variable shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), PALS (AHA)
• Education/Experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
• Required Qualifications: Valid RRT license, clear documentation of certifications, at least 1 year of experience, current license to submit, and local residency within 80 miles of the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous traveler experience and teamwork skills; ability to assist with intubation in emergency situations
• Additional Information: Critical care and MS focus treatments per day: 20-25 patient treatments; Types of patients: mostly adults, with minimal pediatric and neonatal cases. The RT should be comfortable with ventilators (PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, Hamilton), Bipap (V60, Home Resmed), and High Flow (Optiflow). Department-specific orientation includes a one-day shadow with the lead, equipment overview, and departmental orientation on assigned shifts.
• Shift & Scheduling Details: Rotating day and night shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation approximately every third week and every other holiday coverage.
• Other Details: Must note if previously employed by the facility and ensure end date is at least 6 months prior to submission. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
