Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are expanding our Data Center Innovations division and are seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will oversee large and complex projects, setting strategies and goals for successful project execution. Key responsibilities include:Business DevelopmentResponsible for lead generation, customer service, proposal development, and customer acquisition.Producesaccurateestimates, assembles qualityproposalsanddemonstratesgood written communication skills utilizing McKinstry guidelines and proposal formats.Builds and owns market strategies. Includes SWOT analysis, competitiveanalysis, andvertical market and horizontal offering strategies. Analyzes the potential of specific projects while considering changing market conditions.Staysup to date in the marketplace.Partners with internal resources to ensure deliverables meet timelines and requirements.Assists the Senior Account Executive with larger projects. Coordinates with Business Unit Manager to ensure successful execution of projects.Client Relations Provides support to the customer with regards toprojectsfinancing and contracting issues.Acts as the client’s single point of accountability.Initiates and develops personal relationships with potential and existing clients.Utilizes McKinstry’s tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstryMust havedemonstratedproficiencyforall the responsibilities of a Sales Engineer.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visiorequired; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experiencerequired. Five (5) years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor, engineering firm or vendorrequired.Two (2) years of experience leading and closing salesrequired.Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, and estimatesrequired.Knowledge of buildinginfrastructuremechanical and electrical systemsrequired. Knowledge of conceptual estimating preferred.PeopleFirst BenefitsWhen it comes to the basics, we have you covered:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zero deductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistanceUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveTransgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance“Building Good” paid community service timeLearning and advancement opportunities via McKinstry UniversityMcKinstry Moves onsite gyms or reimbursement for remote workersSee benefit plan documents for complete details.If you’re driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together, McKinstry is the place to build your career.The pay range for this position is $93,600 - $163,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location.
