Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a PCU/CCU-Telemetry night shift position requiring ACLS certification and prior PCU experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/CCU-Telemetry setting
• 16-bed unit staffed with 1 charge nurse, 4 floor nurses, and 2 techs per shift
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• 4 shifts per schedule
• Floating required to Med Surg and PCU units
• Call-in required before 5:00 AM or 5:00 PM for shift notifications

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU role
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry and PCU patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
