Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Onancock, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings accurately in EPIC electronic health records
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Participate in unit floating as requested based on facility needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submittal, or valid compact license with proof provided
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and stroke education required
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Minimum one year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty experience within the last year
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
